Re: Potters Bar Town v Dartford Sat 14 Feb 2026
Fair point - I guess I was more thinking that playing the team that’s bottom would be a good opportunity to try out the new trialists, give squad players some game time, etc.
But only if we still beat them

Re: Potters Bar Town v Dartford Sat 14 Feb 2026
Yes it was a gamble to rest our top scorers when we struggle against a low block and it didn’t pay off. Absolutely manager’s responsibility.
Still, I don’t think it makes practical sense to get rid of Ade at this point. Once we way pay out for ending his contract it would have to be an internal ...

Completely agree, and Tbf that’s not just an opinion, if you look at the detail it’s a fact.
Yes… teams being successful after getting promotion means that there isn’t as much of a difference in quality.
only if you think teams progressing dont improve the quality of some of their ...

Re: Potters Bar Town v Dartford Sat 14 Feb 2026
I disagree that the gulf is getting wider. I actually think the quality is not that different between the ILP and NLS. If there were a gulf, we’d see a lot more yo-yo teams like between NLS and NL
Maybe. But some are just rifling through onwards and upwards. Many others, previously below ...

Re: Potters Bar Town v Dartford Sat 14 Feb 2026
I’ve resigned myself to becoming a massive case of ‘whatever’ this season. Play offs? Could do. Should do. Win them by a lottery miracle? Doubtful. Even if we do return to NLS, the gulf has widened and is getting wider by each year.

Re: Dartford v Brentwood Town Sat 31 Jan 2026
If Callum goes down instead of shooting for our second goal, then that's a straight red for Brentwood's 23. So why didn't the ref show a yellow after playing (what should have been) advantage? Either blind or doesn't know the law
Also, any reason Odaudu's red wasn't included in the highlights?

This is going to make the Fans Forum interesting!
The fans forum will be the same as usual, the same long term fans blowing smoke up the a**e of Steve Irving for doing nowt but taking the club into further decline. It’s being run as a social club for most of the directors and Steve Irving ...

Re: Dartford v Brentwood Town Sat 31 Jan 2026
Wasn’t there but it’s interesting that others think Brentwood were the best side to come to PP. Today was their 4th consecutive loss. I felt going into the game it was winnable but I honestly had given up hope at 2-2

Another new player brought in who clearly wasn’t good enough because now he has ended up in a relegation battle which I don’t think we should be trying to assist with. Why would we want to help Welling in any help?
It’s probably in our ...

Promotion this season is unlikely so Ade should ask himself why we are in this position and put together a blueprint for next season. I suggest he brings some width into our game. We need goals and excitement which will attract more fans into the stadium and real atmosphere. We hate boredom ...

Re: Burgess Hill Town v Dartford Sat 24 Jan 2026
I think that there would be a big turn over of players next season should we not get promotion or even a play 0ff spot. Many players from last season pledged their loyalty to the club in the summer. Which we were grateful for, but maybe we will lose a few of our better players this summer, should ...

Re: Isthmian Premier League News
Aveley nicked a 2-1 win over Welling with a 90th minute goal last night. That's a shame they are now 4 points ahead of us in 4th place.
Strange that two of the top four are in a bit of a slump, but the two that aren’t in a slump are the two we’ve beaten recently. It shows that our current ...
