Yet another tough game. These are the one's we should be winning to maintain our play-off position. It's okay getting wins over the top three but then we lose to lower opposition, such is our season.

As said at the beginning of last month, Ramsgate are beginning to play well.
I hope someone is listening.

Re: Dartford v Brentwood Town Sat 31 Jan 2026
Where I stand the F &C words are used by over 60's. Is it any wonder the under 10's are coming out with it. There's a guy behind me who does nothing but discuss his domestic life while the game is going on and then when the referee gets it wrong the dogs abuse towards him is foul. This is done at ...

Re: Dartford v Brentwood Town Sat 31 Jan 2026
That was a hard watch yesterday, I had to shake my head when the winner went in. Completely against the run of play against a very good side, who must be kicking themselves. Even at 2-0 I didn't feel comfortable, I thought if they get one back before half time we were in for a battering.
So it ...

Re: Ady Signs New Contract & Player Updates
I first saw Sam playing a friendly at Faversham and thought he looked quite good. Wasn't surprised when Ade signed him soon after.
I shall be there tomorrow and probably Tuesday as well. My gym mate (who is a Ram's supporter) is quite confident they are going to turn us over. He wasn't of the same ...

Re: Burgess Hill Town v Dartford Sat 24 Jan 2026
I think that there would be a big turn over of players next season should we not get promotion or even a play 0ff spot. Many players from last season pledged their loyalty to the club in the summer. Which we were grateful for, but maybe we will lose a few of our better players this summer, should ...

Didn't see the penalty incident, I wasn't wearing my peak cap.
Oddballs remark on 'another' keeper was uncalled for as it was a decent goal.

Re: Burgess Hill Town v Dartford Sat 24 Jan 2026
It is slightly un-nerving that we play good one week and crap the next. As said, teams are now piling up behind us. I truly can't see a play-off position this season. We are stuttering along with no consistence. It's a shame because we had such high hopes. I shall be at the Brentwood game next week ...

Yes, When Eddie came on the field there was a buzz of excitement in the crowd around me, he was unlucky not to have got on the scoresheet.

Re: Dartford v Aveley Sat 17 Jan 2026
This was a very good win for the Dart's, defended well and counter attacked with pace. We clearly had them worried on all fronts.
I was well disappointed with them as they came to us after getting good results and obviously with a lot of confidence.
What was witnessed was anything but.

Re: Dartford v Aveley Sat 17 Jan 2026
No doubt about this one. Aveley are playing with huge confidence after wins at Folkestone and Cray Wanderers. Attacking and defending well, it seems.
This is going to be a mammoth task to get anything from this game.
But achievable.

I'd have much sooner Folkestone had won last night, there's no wobble there though.
We have to win Friday or we'll be the one's to wobble. Hashtag are putting together some good results lately.

Re: Dartford v Ramsgate Sat 3 Jan 2026
So, a striker who can't get in at Maidstone and a chap who's just left Welling....hmmm.
Okay, they shouldn't be sniffed at but Ram's put up a good shout against Folkestone and lost it in the 94th minute. According to my Gym mate they are playing pretty well at the moment.
I do hope we get a win ...

Re: Chatham Town v Dartford Sat 27 Dec 2025
Great game of football yesterday, defended well and needed to. Good to get the early goals because we needed that cushion and when they made it 2-1 it was definately squeaky bum time.
