Re: Ady Departs
Club may need to head hunt this time, Horlock of Maldon and Tiptree would be my choice.
Depends on the clubs ambitions I guess, inviting passive, quiet and yes men seems to be a requirement in a CV.

Re: Chichester City v Dartford Sat 18 Apr 2026
To think that we were playing the likes of Luton, Wrexham and Grimsby and playing them off the park not that long ago and seen Bromley top of League 2, I am very disappointed in the direction our club has gone. With the set up we have here, its surely deserving of a wealthy owner and a Chairman to ...

Re: This is Dartford!!!
Being a life long fan who has travelled the breadth of our once great country cheering on the Darts, I am frustrated at our current state. Wasn't that long ago, were competing with Luton, Grimsby, Wrexham etc. I see teams like Bromley and Wealdstone doing very well, why were our Darts left behind ...

Re: Goodbye Dave
Always made a point of chatting with Dave, Trevor and Matt, over the years following our beloved Darts, still remember the banter on the forum too. We all bought Puredfc polo's and met each other all those years ago, those days of collections and auctions which helped in a way keep the club going ...

Even though we lost, my round trip from Staffordshire was worth it, as I got see all the lads!
We fell short on the day, as gutting as it is, I like many others wish to thank Ade for his efforts this season, rebuilding the squad to put us in a position to have a chance of promotion. Fair play to ...

Re: Play off Final - Dartford v Dover Athletic Mon 5 May 2025
Well our play off record in finals is well, erm, diabolical (apart from Welling) so this young Darts side has the opportunity to take us up, should be thrilling with a huge crowd.
Dover will not roll over and would have learned a lesson from a few weeks ago.
Can't wait, massive occasion and a few ...

Amazing scenes and I could swear I heard that roar in injury time here in Staffordshire Moorlands!
Sets up a mouth watering final on Monday against our old foes.
Well done Darts for going to the end and turning the game around, the bell end who elbowed our player must be real proud of himself eh ...

Damage done long before today wasn't it. Had a good drink with the good folks of the DSPpre match and so it's off to Hashtag now. Bless you all, I'm having a kebab now.
A bad season on and off the pitch.
Feel sad.

Re: Player news
It’s a major failing (another one) to farm our cream of the academy out on loan when they can be playing a part in the first team. The mentality of our famous club needs to change, this season has been farcical and it’s cost us dearly, barring a miracle, relegation and over 500 fans not bothering ...

Re: The state of Dartford football club
Short of a miracle, we will be playing Hashtag next season.
Our club has clearly been mismanaged, yes imho.
High profile club with fantastic facilities, not that long ago attracting average of 1500. Daft decisions have been made and the result, play offs to relegation (barring a miracle).

The state of Dartford football club
What’s happened to my beloved DFC?
Not that long ago we were the best part time team in England, did the double over Luton, (we did).
Rather than kick on, for what ever reason we went down but still got close to going back up a couple of times, Weymouth being the worst day.
With great facilities ...

Late to the show as I’ve been away in Vegas!

Re: Alan Dowson sacked
Managers come and go don’t they but fans are for life, DFC life under Dowse this season was so bad that fans had stopped going.
Board saw sense as I’m sure the coffers were suffering and we lamely exited important cup competitions, league position this season way off what we are used to.

The spirit of Dartford
Here I am in Egypt getting some R&R (and warmth) and I check in to see my beloved Dartford being stuffed out of sight again.
Something is clearly wrong at our club, I’m not privy to the gossip any more but a blind man and one lifelong fan in the desert can tell that the present manager should go ...

Re: Dartford v Braintree Town Tue 21 Nov 2023
It's all very sad to read the posts lately.
After finishing 2nd last season, surely the onus was going one better this?
Mid table mediocrity is not Dartford fc. If budget is the issue then the club needs to attract investors.
Going through the motions isn't cutting it, my message to anyone in the ...
