Re: Chatham Town v Dartford Sat 27 Dec 2025
Just remembered, the pitch performance did not convert me. I still loathe plastic pitches.

Re: Chatham Town v Dartford Sat 27 Dec 2025
What a funny old afternoon. Gave the turnstile guy a £20 note and he gave me a tenner change. Christmas must have aged me this year. Must be the mother-in-law.
Good turnout from Dartford. Thought there were 2,000 in the ground. The bar must have hidden a lot throughout the game or there must be a ...

Re: Chatham Town v Dartford Sat 27 Dec 2025
I dislike plastic pitch football, but I have not seen a 'Boxing Day' match in years due to family commitments. The format change gives me the opportunity this year. I hope our team adapt to the fake surface better than they did at Ramsgate or Cray, the last two matches that I attended where grass ...

Re: Dartford v St Albans City Sat 20 Dec 2025
Disappointed with the very unfestive welcome at the car park end at 2:40 this afternoon. The high vis decided that he would search my sons, 22 and 19, even though they were clearly attending the match with their old dad. The Dartford shirt and scarf might have suggested that we were home fans and I ...

Re: Dartford v St Albans City Sat 20 Dec 2025
Very flat performance from the Darts today in a match that hinged on the penalty save. Had we gone one down, I think that it would have been match over. The save woke the crowd from its slumbers and the team eventually put together a few small passages of play in the second half when they managed to ...

Are we being transported back to the Eighties? Football holiganism apart, I do hope so.

Re: FA Cup 3rd rnd v London Bees, Sunday 14th December k-off 1pm
Back from an extended afternoon at PP where Dartford sadly departed the FA Cup.
That one teams plays one level higher than the other in the league structure was not evident from the football on display. Normally, you would expect the underdog to revert to badgering the referee and to the 'dark ...

Re: Dartford v Folkestone Invicta Sat 13 Dec 2025
Looking at the table pre-match, I hoped that we might witness a closely contested match full of quality football.
For fifteen minutes we dominated proceedings which were unhampered for the first thirteen minutes by a foul in the referee's opinion. Sadly this set the tone for the match and our ...

Re: Dartford v Folkestone Invicta Sat 13 Dec 2025
All good runs have to come to an end. Today is a good day for Folkestone to experience that!
Hopefully our team can put Folkestone to the sword today to set a positive example for the ladies tomorrow. Put your Christmas shopping on hold, these could be two great games that you should not miss. Come ...

Re: Lewes v Dartford Sat 6 Dec 2025
I think the pitch may have a big influence on the game today. Hopefully we can adapt to conditions and secure another three points on the road. It will set us up nicely for the big match next weekend.
Good luck Darts.

Re: Isthmian Premier League News
With the results tonight, there is only one team in the league that has not won a match in their last five - Dulwich Hamlet.

The highlights show how the game changed towards the end with all the action being around our penalty box. The defence did well today.

Re: Dartford v Dulwich Hamlet Sat 29 Nov 2025
Great result from the team today. In spells, Dulwich could not cope with us but prevented us from scoring with some very good defensive blocks and more than the occasional shirt pull. In the second half the onslaught was constant, until we began the substitution process. I do not know why this was ...

Re: Dartford v Dulwich Hamlet Sat 29 Nov 2025
Hoping for a positive performance from whoever is available from the squad this afternoon. Injuries are frustrating, suspensions bloody annoying. It would be nice to go the whole match without a card as we managed a few weeks ago during a home match. I doubt that will happen, but it would be nice to ...

Re: Whitehawk v Dartford Tue 25 Nov 2025
The red card situation is becoming ridiculous. Either we are a 'marked team' and refs are too quick to reach for the ultimate sanction against us, or we have no understanding of how the refs have been told to apply the rules during league matches this season. Both scenario are a major cause for ...

Re: FA CUP 2nd ROUND v KEYNSHAM TOWN (Tier 4)
For those that did not make the trip to Princes Park at lunch time today, you missed a corker.
Keynsham Town are a level higher than Dartford in the league structure and they were strong in the challenge, quick up front and confident in their own ability. However, in Dartford, they met their match ...

Re: DARTFORD v BRENTFORD South East Regional Premier League Sun 16th Nov, Ko 1pm Princes Park
I had hoped to watch this match but unfortunately my plans were changed on Sunday morning.

Re: Dartford v Chichester City Sat 15 Nov 2025
Not the greatest of spectacles, but a well-deserved win against a team that had a large amount of possession but that offered very little in the final third of the pitch.
Our first goal was a very well taken opportunity, one-on-one with the keeper. This was to become a feature of the match as we ...
