Sutton United ❄️ v DARTFORD Sun 24 Nov Match Postponed

Due to rain of biblical proportions and the mother of all hurricanes Sutton United FC have postponed the match.
Strangley enough the decision was publicised within minutes of buying my e-ticket.
As far as I'm aware the rain was supposed to cease during the night followed by a blustery wind tomorrow which may well have helped to make the pitch playable.
I would have thought there would have been time for one more pitch inspection before 11 am tomorrow.

A bit suspect calling yet another game off. Forecast didn't seem too bad, unless it was way off, and could possibly have missed Chipstead until late afternoon tomorrow with a nice drying breeze for much of the night and morning. Seems a bit easy to postpone matches these days. This could lead to a backlog towards the end of the season, especially if we get good cup runs like last season. I'm confident our girls have the fitness to handle it though.
