Shrewd marketing though, me, being a tight wad, I’d have charged a quid!!Park Life wrote: Sun Dec 21, 2025 5:08 pmFree admission.Bagdhad Billy wrote: Sun Dec 21, 2025 4:55 pm
I noticed Dover managed to pull in over 4k people yesterday I wonder what did they offer to achieve that?

Would be interested to see if they made more money with a 4200 crowd free entry versus food / drink purchases or if they made a loss, season ticket holders have already purchased tickets so some revenue from that.Sleightly Deceptive wrote: Sun Dec 21, 2025 6:18 pmShrewd marketing though, me, being a tight wad, I’d have charged a quid!!Park Life wrote: Sun Dec 21, 2025 5:08 pmFree admission.Bagdhad Billy wrote: Sun Dec 21, 2025 4:55 pm

How many repeat visits from those 4200 I suppose compared to their usual crowds ? Apparently only 300 turned up versus Hornchurch recently so I’m guessing they made more money yesterday.
And agree entry for £1 sounds like a good idea SD

I'm surprised they found 4000 people interested in the town.

Comes to something when we actually win a game because of our next to useless goalkeeper.
Well done Jonny
