Michael is just a liability, he always makes the defence look weaker whenever he plays, he causes us no end of problems and picks up stupid bookings and red cards.

How he was ever selected as captain I don’t know, he’s missed most of this season fo one reason or another.

Michael was booked as we were playing without a left wing back/full back for 20 mins. I can’t believe we started a game of football with just one full back

Regardless of how this ends, today has highlighted what a lot of people have been saying for months.
Pennock has no clue.
Why sign a loan forward when we have two very good ones of our own sat on the bench.
No left back in the squad but Sam smith out on loan.
Only positive of this result is that it puts welling bottom.

This is awful, 1-0 down to the bottom club. On this form we do not deserve a play off position.

Yes… teams being successful after getting promotion means that there isn’t as much of a difference in quality.

only if you think teams progressing dont improve the quality of some of their players and squad as they go up the league table and into other leagues.
They don’t progress with exactly the same players as the years before do they?

I assume every team tries to improve its squad upon promotion. I’m talking trends here, not individual examples. On average, teams stay up longer after promotion from IPL than teams promoted from NLS
