I noticed Dover managed to pull in over 4k people yesterday I wonder what did they offer to achieve that?
Free admission.
Shrewd marketing though, me, being a tight wad, I’d have charged a quid!!

Would be interested to see if they made more money with a 4200 crowd free entry versus food / drink purchases or if they made a loss, season ticket holders have already purchased tickets so some revenue from that.
How many repeat visits from those 4200 I suppose compared to their usual crowds ? Apparently only 300 turned up versus Hornchurch recently so I’m guessing they made more money yesterday.
And agree entry for £1 sounds like a good idea SD

I'm surprised they found 4000 people interested in the town.

Most arrived, freeloading, off the crest of a wave.

Comes to something when we actually win a game because of our next to useless goalkeeper.
Well done Jonny
