Re: Goodbye Dave

Those wishing to attend the celebration of Dave’s life it will be on Friday 17th October from midday at Dartford Football Club.

Thanks 5th. I will try to get down from Derbyshire but work may restrict me.

I always appreciated the occasional chat with Dave because of my Norwich links too and my ...

Re: FA Trophy 3rd Qualifying Round - Hadley FC v Dartford - Sat 4 Oct 2025

Tin pot league sums it up exactly

We need changes ……I’ll be DFC forever but it’s turned into a joke …….we will die if we won’t change it soon or some will be content to going to be in an even lower level….,

Some of us (still on here) followed Darts across England in 2012-15. It’s all Too painful ...

Cheer up people. Go watch the women tomorrow in the FA Cup v QPR and see how proud they are to wear the DFC shirt. They'll put more effort in than that shower of s**t you saw today and they win more prize money than the men.
If there is to be a change in management, then perhaps some fresh faces ...

Good luck today Darts !

I’m in the Midlands watching Derby take on Southampton.

We need a win so badly to try to stop the rot continuing and to hopefully kick start this season - the only way is up (surely)

No more red cards please too.

Where has it all gone wrong.......

It wasn't that long ago that we were a conference. Premier league club under Burman with the big 5 as a nucleus of our excellent team.
Bradbrook, Hayes,Noble,Burns and Harris..

Those were the days when we were a feared team
Since those days we have been ...

Re: Kent Senior Cup - 1st Round - Erith Town v Dartford Tue 23 Sep 2025 @ 19:45pm

That's true and to think we've only tumbled down one level.

One could argue two levels. Yep, I think our spiritual base is ‘Conference South,’ but DARTFORD FC should really be contesting in the highest echelons of non league football. Not as ‘easy’ as it used to be I guess. Can you imagine ...

Hugely disappointing

Lots of possession but no cutting edge ???

I should have gone home to Derbyshire and missed this game but loyalty to the Darts stopped me going coz it was the FA Cup. I won’t be coming down again until this club sorts itself out - the comebacks in the last two games were a ...

We all remember our first venture into what is now The National Premier. After four games, not a point and looked certain whipping boys.
Enough said. Last season we were moaning in October. Enough said.

Ozy - we lost our first 3 then won the next 4 in the Conference National - what a season ...

Total legend at DFC - lovely fella too every time I spoke to him - always had time for you

I had heard the rumour that Trump got involved in the negotiating. Apparently he told Steve Irving in no uncertain terms that he was in taking control of the situation and wanted 'Pillock installed straight away '.
