How the referee did not give the foul on Okoye is beyond me which almost lead to a second for Folkestone. And I get that for all his masterly free kicks and wonder goals it was Samir losing the ball cheaply in mid field that had us scrambling back for the second goal.
For the first goal I don't ...

Re: Dartford v Folkestone Invicta Sat 13 Dec 2025
With the exception of Dan Carter, we actually came of at the end with a stronger team than what we started with. Disappointed with the overall performance and we are still clinging on to a play off spot. But there are clubs below us with plenty of games in hand so I don't expect us to be there for ...

Re: Lewes v Dartford Sat 6 Dec 2025
With their match called off Tuesday night and rain coming in this evening and overnight, this match is increasingly looking iffy.
If it does go ahead, it will be on very heavy ground. If it doesn't their will be some extra training for match fitness for the Folkestone game the following week.

Re: Isthmian Premier League News
I've just read that Mitch Beeney is now playing for Faversham. I was a tad surprised because having seen them play a few times this season I had put on here that Faversham had a good keeper in Roshan Greensall.
Rather surprisingly Greensall left to 'better himself' and went to Ashford United ...

I wonder what team we'll have out tonight? Another side that has a victory behind them at the weekend.

So, no Ade Pennock or Roland Edge. Still, we won, who cares if iy@s Les Cleeveley.
No offence Les.

Re: Dartford v Chichester City Sat 15 Nov 2025
That was a good performance yesterday against a dogged side. Could have gone further ahead from Callum and Eddie in the end but we did need that second goal and what a bizarre goal it was. Good performances all over the pitch and not just from our players. Thought that their number 4 was a good ...

Tough game with the pressure on the lads and Ade to produce. Not an easy one by a long way. They were a very good side last season.
I shall be there Saturday.

He's probably more annoyed than the fans over the defeat. He is human.
A tad disappointed with the defeat myself.
Hopefully bounce back Tuesday, but it's not going to be easy.

Re: Dartford v Wingate & Finchley Sat 8 Nov 2025
Lovely day for a game of footie.
Let's hope we can carry on the run. No game is easy and I'm sure that W&F have got the wind in their sails after a good win at the top club last week.
I also think that Canvey are an improving side so the midweek draw with them was probably a good result for W&F also ...

Re: Isthmian Premier League News
Let's worry about W&F first before we worry how others around us are doing. Although admittedly Aveley are banging in the goals lately.
But I think we all knew that Folkestone were going to be the team to watch this season.

Re: Dartford v Welling Sat 1 Nov 2025
I must admit, this is the first time I've enjoyed an interview by Rod Stringer. Honest run down of the situation at Welling and what he has inherited. He was right on their first half performance and then on their second. And if the substitute is the guy I think he was on about, I also thought the ...

So, Roland was unaware that Henley has been getting stick from the fans. Someone hasn't been telling him.
This was a crucial win for us yesterday, one for keeping the momentum going and two to let everyone else in the division know that we are not a club in crisis.
Same squad of players that started ...
