Re: Wingate & Finchley v Dartford Sat 7 Mar 2026
I have to point out that Eastbourne is closer to home for SK. Also, that ploughing money from a sugar daddy or financial backers is not a rubber stamped solution to all clubs problems.
Eastbourne went full time 2years ago I believe with money behind the move. The sky was the limit. Looks like the ...

Re: News from around the National League South
The SK appointment has not gone down too well with their supporters, he has a knack of dividing opinion.
But getting results........
He has always been very unpopular with EBFC fans, but I expect him to steer them clear of relegation, so he should win a few of them over!
The big question ...

Best app for live scores?
Any recommendations for apps that cover the Isthmian League, please?
I've used Livescore in the past, but this season it seems to have gone down the pan, in terms of accuracy and volumes of irritating ads!

Great news, better looking and quality shirts for a change!
Let's just hope that, for the fans sake, the club doesn't go for one of the skin tight styles

Re: Budget
Nobody knows what the budget is, nor should they outside the Board and management team. Ady did superbly well to achieve 3rd with many home grown players without splashing out as previous managers have done at this club and others simply to achieve nothing. Classic example - Folkestone last year ...

Re: News from around the National League South
Speaking of 7th placed clubs scumming it in the playoffs, Borehamwood will host Maidstone next Sunday to join Truro in a seat at the top table. Jacob Berkeley-Agyepong opened then Alfie Pavey levelled for the Sports. Quite an individual goal.
Two other ex Darts loaness playing for Borough too ...

Re: Dartford Players of The Past
He did very well at Maidstone when he left us, to earn a move to Aldershot.
I recall that he was very disappointed that he felt he was never given a real chance to show what he could do when he was here. Was he one of Kingy's (many) signings?!!

Re: DFC playoffs since NLP
All these play off’s are an absolute joke and makes a mockery of the league. It should just be the top 2 or top 3 teams as per some leagues / divisions that get promoted.
If a team finishes in 4th or below then their season re-starts again the following August in that same league / division. Why ...

Indeed …….. glad I’m not alone in thinking that !
Been saying that for weeks!
I'm pretty sure the "punching above our weight" comment referred to comparative playing budgets (sorry for that word again!), not ...
