Another form team to play ! Can we make it 16 unbeaten?

Bill and Ricky have a hard game away to Horsham so another opportunity to catch up with the front 2

“ if this changes we’ll inform people “

If I was cynical I’d assume the wording is a response to anyone that dared question their lack communication last week during 4/5 days of atrocious weather leading right up to the game.
But I’m not so I won’t.

I assume they mean they would make an announcement to supporters or potentially new supporters who may want to come down and watch the game and would potentially inform us on the Saturday at some point.

Looking forward to this game.

Poorly written and it comes across as pompous.

Looks like part of the message was missing on X, as the website shows this. Brass Monkeys out there!

"Ahead of two nights of forecasted minus temperatures the pitch has been covered and they will remain on until Saturday morning.

We fully expect Saturdays game to go ahead and there is no inspections planned at this moment.

If this changes we will inform people of the planned inspection."

That’s a fair point, but maybe when they actually made a decent effort to communicate this time their previous lack of is what people subconsciously have in their minds while reading the post.

Anyway onto the game, really can’t wait.
The pitch I thought was excellent last week taking into account not just the frozen weather but the constant rain.
Credit to the ground staff.

I’ve just seen on Dovers fans forum their game is off tomorrow !

We could move to within 1 point tomorrow with a win who would have thought that in October, our run has been amazing will eventually come to an end at some point however I hope it isn’t tomorrow and we start to put some real pressure on the top 2.

According to the weather app, it’s currently-4 and at 11.00 it’s going to be -2.

Hope the game is on to keep up the momentum and the pressure on the teams above!

As much as I'd like to see the game I won't come up today. I'll be in my armchair with a book and PL.
Good luck to Ade and the lads in what could be a tough match against an in form opponent who is probably the surprise of this division.

I find it interesting that Gillingham's game is called off and yet their pitch is also covered. I believe they called it off yesterday.

Glad that the decision has been made .
Almost all of us want to see the Darts play.
BUT....safety comes 1st.
Apart from that it is blooming freezing out there.

Still -4 now and no thaw all day so absolutely no chance of pitch being playable:-
