Very confused by the game management today, playing olly through the middle 2nd half when we lumped the ball continuously is one i’m struggling to understand. Taking off the leagues top scorer too when we needed a goal is another questionable decision.

Despite frequent time wasting and poor sportsmanship Wingate to me looked a proper, well drilled side and deserved the win.

Summat went wrong there. Sloppy passing. Questionable substitution against a very good team. After their equaliser, their skipper ran up to the celebrators and shouted. “Let’s go for the win!” and it looked very likely. Best side I’ve seen this season. Shame. But we knew it wouldn’t last long - need a red bull or two. (Is it me or have Samir and Callum come off the boil a bit?)

Slipped up, it's going to happen. Scrappy. Others above are getting big wins , whereas Brentwood are slipping up big time.
Still on the edge of the play off position's.

I have to agree with you and it is not just this game but the last few games where these two were prime candidates for substitution in the minds of several fans but it would seem that Samir eventually gets substitutes but despite his performances Callum stays on until the end of each game :x

Just an overall poor performance from us today. We were never really at the races other than maybe a 10 minute spell in the second half with the offside goal and the goal we scored. Too many players looked off it today from the very start but we were never going to go unbeaten the rest of the season and its all about Tuesday now. Interested to see Sammie Mcleod training before the game this week, looks like he is finally on the mend

Missed the last couple of games due to holiday and was so looking forward to today's game but that was short lived as we never got going and it was a real scrappy performance from us, one of those days you get where it just looks like nothings going to click.

We were just chatting in the second half saying sometimes you need to grind out a 1-0 when your not playing well so when we took the lead that's what we were all hoping. However credit to W&F as they kept going and although i didn't think there was much in it, they looked the more likely to win the game towards the end.

However i have to say i was really puzzled today as i've already stated we never really got going but didn't make any changes until late in the game even though we had a decent bench. I couldn't understand why Eddie got subbed when he was our most involved forward second half and the leagues top scorer, especially when we know him and Olly can get a goal out of nothing? Not the decision i would have made and we should really have tried something much sooner than we did imo. Also not sure how their number 17 was allowed so much space in the middle of the park for virtually the entire game?

A really disappointing day so we need to bounce back Tuesday and put in a much better performance.

MOTM a real tough one as i don't think anyone really stood out. Tennent had a decent first half but ive gone for Bland as he kept going and scored.

Today was a day when nobody really put in a performance at all, we seemed to back away from the opposition far too much and gave them far too much respect. The minute we had the ball they was on us and hassled us, closing us down and blocking out passes where as we didn’t do that to them. They got the ball and ran at us attacking us at every option especially out wide on the wings where as when we had the ball we would go sideways & backwards.
Olly never really looked dangerous at all on that left wing today for us and very rarely did he try and take the fullback on he would pass backwards.

I’m afraid a lot of the blame has to lye at Ady’s door today though because there just didn’t seem to be any tactics whatsoever, his substitutions were wrong and came far far to late in the game. Samir I’m afraid should have been taken off a lot sooner than he was, he hardly seemed to be able to run in the end and kept giving the ball away far to much again and as for Calum Jones I’m afraid he’s been an absolute waste of space for the last few weeks now. What has this guy got to do before Ady will take him off, he always remains on the pitch no matter how badly he’s playing, he’s no where near the player he was last season, hardly ever jumps for the ball, never wins a ball in the air and just seems to back into the defenders and fall over without winning the ball. How Eddie was subbed today and not Calum I just don’t know. IF he is fit then it’s time for Dan Smith to get a starting position in the team and for Calum to sit on the bench. Eddie can always play out wide and cut in to score the same as Olly can with Dan Smith in the centre.

I only hope we can make the odd change ready for the Ricay game away on Tuesday night and fingers crossed can get the win to get us back in the play off position.

I think Jacob will get my vote today for the goal and at least trying to do something on the pitch.

Is what it is 🤷 a few times I thought we were gonna do it but I think the 1st goal being disallowed was the killer for us, and the home end being so quiet didn't help the players ! onwards and upwards ⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪

Disappointing performance today. Our opponents looked sharper and were happy to run at defenders. Their first goal was well worked and the second was a gift from a poor defensive header that was not even contested. We made a very weak challenge as the header came down and our opponent just ran at goal and let fly from some way out. No complaints from me about the result. Our opponents were a little bit better than us in every department today.

Thought the ref had a good game. He let it flow and did not waive too many cards around. Might lend him a tape measure though. He clearly has no idea how far ten yards is!

Hopefully back to winning ways on Tuesday against our old promotion rivals who are currently languishing in fourteenth position and who have a negative goal difference. That is a bit of a surprise.

Ok Ade picks a team that he feels is the best equipped to din thd game but for me the interesting thing is that he ditched 5 at at the back formation so there is good chance he will change his tactics further up the pitch
As for as I am concerned I am not confident of a result when Callum and Michael are on the pitch. I just can’t see thier assets.
As for the game we were outplayed and W&F were definitely the best to visit PP this season
The substitutions were too late and incorrect as others hzvd said
The front three do not step into midfield enough and consequently we were overrun at times particularly in thd second half
I think it’s time to play Dan Smith with Olly and Eddie firing balls at him and cutting inside to shoot whenever possible
Jacob played as well as he could under difficult circumstances but I made George MOTM and state that he is a wonderful footballer
Let’s face it we song win thd league but we do need to be in thd playoffs and hope we get lucky. However it won’t be easy
The ref was very good but he made some odd decisions in the last 10/15 minutes
