Just seen the post match interview with Ady from last night and I don’t think I have seen him so obviously angry after the game. His opinion of our defending as complete embarrassing was spot-on I can’t continue. I think there was a lot more he wanted to say particularly about the refereeing but restrained himself sensibly. I would not of liked to have been in that dressing room last night. Hope the defence got the rocket they deserve.

Ramsgate's defence was poor, what a shame we couldn't take advantage of that. Our attack wasn't exactly ticking and we failed to put them under any pressure up until Eddie.
Four goals away from home ought to be enough and I'd be delighted with that every week. Surely the defence is where the inquest must start.

Searching online it doesn’t look as though Ramsgate have any sort of fans forum and their main website is utter shit.
Was the game filmed at all either by us or them?
I’m guessing that as Ady’s interview was recorded and not filmed by us that we didn’t have any camera’s to cover the game. If this is the case was that because our media team wasn’t available to film or did Ramsgate refuse permission for us to film?

There appeared to be only one camera on the gantry. I’m guessing it was Ramsgate’s.

As said Spike, it wasn't until the inclusion of Eddie. I thought that we could have been 3-1 up before Ramsgate got their second. Both Callum and Olly missed sitters early on. Yes, we got 4 but it was pretty well from a one man show.
But agree, it's the defence that needs sorting.

Having said that, a shit pitch and a slamdunk penalty waved away. The Ref blew it.

Not bad coverage to be honest and a good length of approximately 20mins, they showed all the main incidents as well.
Only issue was that some of it was more long distance but you still managed to see most things.
Must have been an unbelievable game to have been at but what great strikes from Eddie.

Big positives to take from yesterday: first away point, great comeback and Eddie further proving himself as an impact sub. Scoring the equaliser will be more of a confidence boost than conceding as well.
Looking at the highlights, Okoye and Ramsgate red cards were both clean challenges in my view. Okoye’s wasn’t as one sided as described, he was definitely the one who made the challenge after a heavy touch, but he won it cleanly. Ramsgate player also won the ball and wasn’t endangering our player. I think the referee saw a strong challenge and panicked… twice
I also don't think our penalty shout at the death is as stonewall as was made out on here.
No complaints about Sam Smith’s red card. He has a lot of improving to do.
Final positive is that our forwards are doing their jobs. I reckon it’s easier to plug a leaky defence than to overcome a goal drought.
Note on the highlights though - they’ve somehow managed to make a 4-4 with three red cards the most boring watch ever. 80% of it was non-events. They gave more screen time to sent-off players walking in than they did to our goals
The only plus I saw was that the guy almost threw a programme at me for free when I walked in the gate. Thin admittedly, but it wasn't crammed with adverts.

yeah thats why i asked there seems to be no general admission info... so thought maybe you found something that i didnt
Upon further research it appears that the admission prices are £12 for adults and £8 for concessions. Booking online would actually work out to be more expensive as a booking fee is added.
yeah had a feeling that was the case they normally do i aint tight but hate booking fees....and like paying cash
Generally at this level and B4 up to NL level cash is king due to TAX reasons!.. once a club is run entirely professionally/properly card becomes king due to cash being expensive to handle. Generally pisspot = cash only pls. Think the local Turkish barbors

3-1 now
Just not good enough
What is the excuse this week? Because we have 11 players on the pitch.
Honest as always. Forums need this as it's not a happy clapping circus

You know nothing of his history so you’ve little right to comment. And if you’re bothered about our forum stay on yours, and please don’t tell our supporters how they should and should not post. All are welcome but you wont be missed.

No excuses conceding 4 goals to Ramsgate but that Plastic pitch, just isn't proper Football.
Ramsgate Number 7 what a cheat, spent most of the game poleaxed on the floor, diving and rolling about, amazingly didnt need no treatment just got up and dived again. Seriously need to get these cheats out of football they are ruining the name of Football.

Just a couple of observations that have been left out of this discussion. 1) How did we not get Tom Clifford back onboard, he is clearly a level up from the Isthmian Premier. A proper wingback who gets up and down the pitch and is a goal threat. 2) As others have said, Eddie deserves more game time and I would also include Luther too. He has that additional pace that I feel our other central defenders lack. He deserves a start as he offers something different.

I have to agree with the Luther comment. It amazes me that for most part of last season he was the best and most consistent defender we had and right at the end of the campaign after an injury he hasn't had a look in since other than coming on for sub appearances in a right wing back he clearly isnt used too
