League Cup I guess.
We play less league games in the Isthmian League, 42 instead of the 46 in the NLS.

The Isthmian does run a League Cup though so a chance to top up the four fewer league fixtures. Entry is voluntary due to the potential distances to be travelled by some member clubs.

Nothing to do with fixtures, but less miles to travel too:

2024-2025 both ways 1634.6
2023-2024 both ways 4188.4
2022-2023 both ways 3115.2
2021-2022 both ways 2146.2
2020-2021 both ways 2146.2
2019-2020 both ways 2590.2
2018-2019 both ways 3640.8
2017-2018 both ways 3734.2
2016-2017 both ways 3254
2015-2016 both ways 3222.2
2014-2015 both ways 6919.4
2013-2014 both ways 6684
2012-2013 both ways 7419

Past few years, the mileage has been calculated by me manually creating a TomTom .poi file to each ground (usually to the car park, or to the entrance in the case of Welling), converting that to .kml and then using Google Earth to calculate the distances. More useless rubbish that I put on my website that takes me hours. :D

If we enter that plus the Kent & London Senior Cups we'll be playing every Tuesday

Don’t think there’s any choice with the League Cup. I reckon we’ll drop the London Senior. In the old days, the Isthmain League Cup was a big deal. Especially QFs onwards.

Isthmian League Cup is optional. Last season 16 of the 22 Premier Division clubs entered, and 57 of 82 in total.

Article in the NLP re Lewes FC and their sponsorship with 'Who gives a crap '.
I've been using their toilet paper for years but I've never had sponsorship. Missed out there, didn't I?

Still sorting it out. After their start Potters Bar are in third place after walloping Lewes. And Dover, they obviously sorted out Wingate and F.
Bodø won 😁

And we've dropped down a place to 14th after Canvey Island won yesterday.

We should’ve done the same with the amount of chances we had against Hendon. Instead we drew 0-0 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️.

The mighty Dover succumb to Sittingbourne in the Trophy and Hendon hammered by Hanwell 5-0.
Only CVPM to worry about next game, I mean, we did beat them opening game of the season so we should be seeing them off for our first double.🤔😜

Dovre must be done with playing Sittingbourne, having also gone out of the FA cup to them after a first qualifying round 2-2 draw, meaning they have faced each other every month so far this season!

Mikey, Sittingbourne are a well organised outfit and having seen them a couple of times they have at least 5 players that would walk into our team. Ryan Maxwell is doing an incredible job and we should be keeping tabs on him, certainly if things don't pick up for Ade.

He’s not had much luck has he, gets the boot from Welling to be replaced by the used car salesman so joins Hastings and now he’s been given the boot again.

May be the wrong site, but just noticed on the Isthmian site that the Velocity Cup 4th Round was drawn today. A Kent derby away to Ashford, Margate or Sheppey. Last chance for a cup run to relieve the league gloom?

Can’t see us beating any of them.

With the matches today it's our chance to stay perfectly still.
After watching the poor outfit that were Canvey Island it is amazing that we are below them in the league. Let's hope they can roll over the mighty French.
