Ady on Samuel’s signing

“Samuel has been with us throughout pre-season and is someone we have been impressed with. Following a long-term injury it’s important for him to get a lot of game time right now, so we have sent him out on loan immediately.”

So, even though Samuel had signed he wasn't in PL's list of squad members and now he's off to Hitchin.
Let's hope the lad gets his fitness back and is soon amongst the throng as he seems highly thought of by management.

May be a good test for him at Hitchin, as they are bottom of the SLP Central conceding 13 goals in 4 games. I see he came on as a substitute in Saturday's 0-3 home game with Kettering Town, and had a few positive comments in their match report. Said to be a one month loan.

Played 6 lost 6 so far (0-2 today to exit the cup) to carry on last seasons dreadful form which made us look good! At one point they reeled off 3 points from a possible 54! Stayed up as Nuneaton went bust. At least one of my teams appears to have got itself back together over the summer!!!

They're not, it's dual reg.
He's barely played this season, apparently had a bad injury at the end of last season and has only just got back to fitness.

So no doubt will use us for some fitness and then return after a month, or sooner if he's scoring loads.

As long as he finds the back of the net, who cares?At least Ade has seen he has a problem, because I doubt very much he was reading this.

Now all we need is a decent central defender to help out.

I think that both of you are right we need new players in all of these positions

We’ve still yet to play Samual Caiger who is a defender, we signed him and put him straight out on a month’s loan to Hitchin Town.
Surely we could look at bringing him back to play and hopefully tighten up the defence.
