Gotta admit, we're very good at putting ourselves under pressure.

Big 3 points.
Need to build on this and get another run going now.

Great win! I knew things would come together once we get an experienced CB in the side.
That puts us 4th in the form table. Things are looking up! COYD

Need to carry this performance onto Tuesday at home to burgess town then on to a very tricky fixture at Brentwood who won again today ! That will be the biggest test of the season and it’s away

The players will all be having nosebleeds at this rate. So high up the table. Need to build on this win especially with three back from injury.
It may look a good win on paper but the last twenty minutes was pretty poor for us. I would have liked a couple of more goals.
Olly was good but it was so good to see Sam Okoye back as he added a lot of pace and his getting behind the defense was long awaited.
Sam Okoye my motm

Cheshunt had very little to offer, their no.3 was the biggest threat along the side but only really in the first half. To be fair, we played well - particularly at the back - Tennent looked much better than last weekend and am continually impressed with Smith. We must have completed at least three times more passes than our opposition and as previously stated the only criticism being that we ought to have scored one or two more. Nice one Ady & boys - never too high, never too low eh

I watched with my Cheshunt mate who was really disappointed with his team’s efforts and said they’d been playing really well all season. After the red card and Ollie’s goal, he was dreading a 5-0 thumping. I expected at least 3. Great win but, John, I’m not dancing! Great to see Ollie celebrating in front of the fans again! Another win on Tuesday and it’s back on folks!

Maybe should’ve been a bigger winning margin but that’s splitting hairs. 3 points and a clean sheet. What more do we want. More wins will breed confidence and we will go for the jugular. I can understand the scepticism about our prospects of matching last season’s unbeaten run, but we are capable. There’s a reluctance to commit players forward, and we’re lacking the anticipation to react to rebounds or things that don’t work out, but that will improve with better form. Okoye my motm.
Early days but Tennent is the centre-back we needed. Looked a bit off to start with last week, but that’s because he hasn’t played much recently. He grew into the game last week and was better today. Further improvement required, but I expect we’ll be saying “Joe Tennent was my motm today” a few times this season.

Very pleased with the win and Cheshunt were not the threat I expected but tbf we nullified them in the first half and deserved the lead. We made hard work of it the second half but the main thing is we got there in the end
If we win a few more games soon and look like making the playoffs or better we need to turn thd 2-0s into 4 or 5 nils as I believe our goal difference was a reason we did not win the division last season.
I was particularly disappointed in the second half when Olly made a beautiful run down the left and put the ball into the box for hopefully a tap in but the two chasing into the box were 20 yards too slow to get there and for me that was appalling
You know what Olly is likely to do so be there should thd ball come over
Motm Smithy. For the first time since Ade has been manager the three centre backs understood the system and carried out their jobs without fault

Was a solid performance, never in doubt once they went down to 10 men.
Still areas to improve, would've liked and expected us to have a lot more control of the ball in the 2nd half as we did let them in with a few half chances and one that had to be hacked away off the line.
Hopefully it's the start of a run similar to last season, not just a blip.
Still think we need reinforcements

A good performance today considering what we’ve had to watch lately and certainly a much needed 3pts and even better no red card for us.
Well Done Darts let’s take this into Tuesdays game now and get another 3 much needed points.
A nice touch and show of respect from the club today doing the minutes applause for both The Duke and Billy Vigor and also inviting Dukes family along as guests for the game plus the small right up in today’s programme. It was much appreciated by Helen & the family.
