I’ve thankfully had to work tonight so couldn’t be there but my dad has just returned home early after leaving just before the hour mark which he has never done before whilst watching football. He said the defending yet again is dire and we will need new faces in or it’ll be a season in the bottom half at best

A tad disappointed with the score. Looks like you'll have to wait a little longer for that FA cup run Spike.
We also seem to be running out of players.
See you Saturday.

Well that is absolutely pathetic. A cup run of one round. I remember a Wrlling fan telling me they were happy we were keeping Ady. I thought we'd have the last laugh, but I'd say little chance of that now.

What an absolute, embarrassing, shitshow that was.
Long ball followed by long ball..that doesn't work nevermind we will try another long ball

Our only source of goals atm seem to be set pieces and penalties, which explains why in the first half everytime we got into a shooting position we decided to throw ourselves to the ground

Why do we not have a full squad where we have to have a bench full of youth players. If I recall Bracknells first sub came after 80 minutes which shows to me how comfortable they were they didn't have to change anything.

Aside from the scrappy 5 mins which arguably should've seen a red card I thought the ref had a decent game and is not the reason we lost.

Is budget stopping us attracting players? Or does the manager simply not have the contacts. If its the latter then make a change before its too late. Although squad aside I've seen nothing this season that makes me think otherwise. The squad is considerably weaker than last season and there is no depth to it

The easiest draw possible on paper next round and once again we've absolutely f*cked it

The laughing stock of Kent football

Really disappointed with tonight and the start of the season in general. I was worried before a ball was kicked, I do feel our season deflated last season due to a lack of depth, and I think it’s carried on to this season and has not improved, just worsened. We’ve signed Sammie Mcleod, a midfielder with a history of injuries. Dan smith the same. Kept Samir as our only creative spark who wins us games but will not manage more than 20 this season. Callum Jones should not be playing as many games as he does, his engine is unbelievable but surely he’s earned a rest? But there’s nobody in the squad to come in and replace him. The style of football has been dire, it was last season too but it was working, so nobody complained, including myself. But when it goes wrong, (like it did with d*wse) princes park becomes a real depressing place to be, I thought a change of formation may have changed our style of football, but as displayed tonight it hasn’t.

What a shocking advert that was for the once great trophy. Sadly a team of officials desperately out of their depth and a match of constant holding, shirt pulling and diving. Both teams managed two shots on target, I think. They scored theirs and we didn't. We struggtled to break down a solid defence that fouled continually as the ref left it far too late to issue his first card of the evening.

I felt that the second half challenge on Olly was worthy of a straight red. Samir's retaliation should probably have been yellow or red and likewise for their played that tried to push Samir into next week. The ref entirely bottled the situation and merely awarded a yellow to the initial guilty party. There is just no consistency in the standard of officials. We have seen numerous reds this season already for far lesser challenges and suffered tonight due to one very dubious suspension from the Ramsgate match.

Hopefully the discussions around the officials will not cover up how poor our performance was tonight. Plenty of huff and puff, but very little end product. The small squad is rather depleted by injuries and suspensions and the bench had a very strong academy element to it.

Bracknell will not believe how easy it was this evening. They came with a plan to disrupt and they executed it with ease. It is getting a little tiring watching us constantly chasing matches and hoping that we might eke out a draw with a late comeback. Oh for a clean sheet and a controlled performance.

I hope that the Olly incident is shown in full in the highlights. I would like confirmation that my eyes are not playing tricks on me.

And here we go rather than make the main focus of your post about how bad we were you focus on the officials

I’m depressed as f*ck with this team right now. I can’t believe we’re regarding Canvey Island, bottom of the league, as a test of where we’re really at. Ady, has a mammoth task on his hands. Half of this outfit need replacing. That was shocking tonight. Whist the ref was another absolute c*nt, we can’t blame him. Except for the disallowed goal where there was no contact on the keeper whatsoever. He dropped it. His facial expression to us lot said it all! But, we ain’t gonna win games by being shit. Over to you Ady. People are revolting!

I’ll comment on as much of the game I saw (55 minutes, the time they scored their second).

I was fuming at the way we conceded the first having enjoyed something like 60-65% of possession in that first half. Yes, I was hoping for a reply but more shoddy defending handed them a second. Exit PP for Hardy and home I went, absolutely disgusted. Strong words I know, but that’s the way I feel.

Clearly our defence isn’t good enough, simple as that, and needs to be addressed by Ady - NOW!

Won’t be at the game on Saturday and, honestly, looking forward to a break from it. I may, or may not, return, we’ll see!

Footnote: Apparently, County Cup aside, Bracknell haven’t won an away game since February and they’re over the moon!

Words fail me. They had two attacks and scored two goals and we never ever looked like scoring any goals

Why wouldn’t they be with a kind draw an excellent chance to make some good progress and money. We on the other hand continue our gradual descent back to the Kent league it seems!

Hugely disappointing

Lots of possession but no cutting edge ???

I should have gone home to Derbyshire and missed this game but loyalty to the Darts stopped me going coz it was the FA Cup. I won’t be coming down again until this club sorts itself out - the comebacks in the last two games were a false dawn I think. Back to the drawing board I think for sure. We used to be the biggest non-league team in Kent a few years ago. God knows how low we have sunk now.

Gutted 😞

Very disappointing performance. Really concerned with this team so far.

Henly as captain today? It's debatable if he should even be on the pitch. Im not convinced in his ability so far, I worry every time the ball goes near him as I don't believe he is quick enough to get down to it. Then the defence ahead of him is shaky at best.

Long balls over the top mostly cuts out our midfield, might as well not be playing. When they did knock it about in the first half I thought ok here we go but we soon reverted back to long ball.

I still think we are alright in attack, just lacking a bit of confidence, should have had a few tonight if they took there chances. I don't think trying to fit Jones, box, dsane/ smith in is working. I think we need to go 2 up top and rotate. Jones and box had a good partnership last season.

We are Still a team with no wingers relying on our wing backs to run up and down all day long and then getting caught on the break. Crying out for a ryno type of player.

Ady says we got to get behind the lads but it's becoming harder and harder when the formation is the same, the tactic is the same,
It's never good when we as fans are screaming for red cards in the hope to get a numerical advantage. That's not how I want to see Dartford win games. Will we ever see Dartford dominate games under Ady? Questions are starting to be asked.
