St Albans City have announced that manager Ian Culverhouse and his assistant Paul Bastock have left the club to join another club (rumoured to be King's Lynn). The club in question was asked out of courtesy if they would not approach Ian and Paul until after St Albans FA Cup First Round tie against Burton, however this request was ignored and Ian and Paul were given a deadline to reply. Culverhouse and Bastock have decided to leave City due to a variety of reasons including travel and these new roles being full time positions.

Popped over to watch Buxton v Chatham in the F A Cup. The few hundred vocal Chats supporters should be proud of their team's spirited effort, with a tight passing game and lots of possession on the plastic pitch, but not many clear attempts on goal, apart from a fine strike to take a deserved lead early in the second half. We should beware of their long throw-ins when we meet. Eventually the 5th in NLN hosts who I think are full timers got going, but it took a rebound from a keeper's fumble and an unstoppable worldie deep into extra time to put them out.
Surprised that there no replays now at this stage, and that it was segregated and so much drinking and smoking on the raucous terraces. A good watch for a neutral Kentish Dart now in Derbyshire.

All 3 teams above us are playing tonight, hoping Ricky, welling and whitehawk can do us a favour as all 3 have games in hand over us.
Exciting times

Looking positive still a lot of the top ten are losing games probably only Folkestone and Aveley showing decent form alongside the Darts

Aveley look like dark horses this season I think they will be in the mix, W&F hammer Brentwood 5-0 then draw with Canvey who have a new manager it’s a strong league this year but we look stronger than last season

Let's worry about W&F first before we worry how others around us are doing. Although admittedly Aveley are banging in the goals lately.
But I think we all knew that Folkestone were going to be the team to watch this season.

I’m surprised he left Sittingbourne, maybe he got the hump by continuing to lose his best players. One of the best young managers in non-league.
