Having watched the highlights from the Lewes game, a very mediocre performance.
I am finding it very hard to see any points tally for this month unless we can get Bland or Carter involved and a bit of bite up front .
I'd like to think that Ade and the lads will get something on Saturday and then I may change my mind on the matter. But really, Saunders and Folkestone are looking a tad formidable and it's going to take a BIG performance to get anything.
I pray I'm wrong but Folkestone are not only bringing the top side but also a very noisy support.
I like to think I'm wrong and the lads pull off a shock but at the moment it will be a nothing but a shock realistically.

Brentwood and Cheshunt drew 2-2 tonight. The other scheduled match, Canvey Island v Chichester, was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Let your hopes become true!
3-3 & 1-2 with about ten to go.
EDIT. And that’s how it ends making sure we go into tomorrow in the top five by ‘mathematical rights’ for once!

I’ve seen Welling has been abandoned before kick off? Bit of a weird statement as to why. Seems to involve the supporters and new manager

Welling v Potters bar has been postponed, announced by a cryptic social media post from Welling. Quick look on Twitter suggests something happened between the manager and some fans. Welling turned it into an open training session

Again, only going by rumours on Twitter: apparently the welling manager headbutted the potters bar manager, who went to hospital with a broken nose.
If true, looks like they’ll be back on the manager hunt quicker than expected

I think Welling are deep in the brown stuff! I feel sorry for their genuine fans. Pub team culture. That can’t be acceptable for them.

According to the Sun he has been arrested on suspicion of GBH and still in custody.
He could be in serious trouble!
Sammy Moore has received treatment for facial injuries.

Could there be scope for the match being awarded to PB?

If I was an away fan I would want not just my match ticket refunded but my travel as well . I think there will be major repercussions on this .

The aggro between the two managers concerns it seems the former Welling player Femi Akinwande who was recently transferred to Potters Bar. There was a "Gentleman's agreement" that the player wouldn't play against Welling today, however when his name appeared on the team-sheet the new Welling manager Ryan Maxwell took exception and allegedly broke the nose of the Potters Bar manager Sammy Moore with a head-butt. Mr Maxwell is currently helping the Police with their enquiries.
