There’s certainly just one battle for 2nd place and one battle for 4th place going into the new year in this division. Probably only the teams in the relegation spots not in contention for 4th…

And 20 points clear of us.
I think it’s safe to say we will be in this division for many a season to come, we simply don’t have the finances to match teams we used to play in friendlies!
The 5 year plan probably needs reviewing, without outside investment we won’t move forward.

Good post and very true. I feel we will be at this level for some seasons now. Failing outside investment our only chance is retaining Olly , George and Jeremiah and other academy lads and finding a 20+ goal scorer and vastly improving other positions on the field.
At the same time someone has to understand football is an entertainment business and until the team on the field start entertaining the fans week in week out we may as well start calling DFC the Drifters

Can recall knocking Bromley out of a tight FA Cup tie at Hayes Lane, for example. However, since they've been on a major incoming Positive Risk - Taking Reorganisation, Upgrade.and Sustenance to match these modern times, we can't compare!
