Billericay had the meanest defence in the league with 21 goals conceded before our game, and still do now even with 25 goals against. So really wasn't expecting that scoreline this afternoon, but absolutely over the moon this result with a total reversal of the first game between us. Totally enjoyed that commentary from Will Bass.

A couple of sensible substitutions to try and make sure no more 2nd yellow cards issued.

Great to see our biggest crowd of the season of 1634 and for the team to give the supporters such a game to remember. Every player seems to be playing their part and working for each other, and team spirit seems excellent too! Long may this continue!!

Absolutely brilliant performance

A fantastic start with 2 quick goals I have to admit I was a bit worried after Samir went off as we seemed to lose any control we had on the game and it turned a bit scrappy from our point of view and let Billericay have possession, luckily we got to half time at 2-0 and we came out in the 2nd half and regained control of the game, arguably could've been 5 or 6 had we taken some big chances.

A great crowd and the players didn't disappoint on the pitch.

Could genuinely give MOTM to anyone today, however gave my vote to Bullas. Thought he was superb in the middle of the park all game long.

Wow. Absolutely wow! Can’t remember a feeling like that at PP for a long time. Difficult to pick a MOTM. Even Jacob could be in with a shout with three stunning saves. But, once more, for me, it’s “he’s indestructible….” Callum JONES!

The most complete performance I have seen for a couple of seasons at least.
We totally dominated and could easily have had at least three more goals.
We are playing with such intensity and confidence which us an absolute joy.
There were men of the match all over the pitch today but for me Olopade just edged it.
If we keep playing like this I don't see anyone stopping us.

Can't remember the last time I saw a performance like that. Lightning start and in total control for first 20 minutes. They woke up for the rest of the first half but we defended well and looked dangerous every time we went forward. Second half we could have scored a few more we were so good.

MOTM is hard because all played amazing this squad would hold its own in the south, going to go for Calum for his overall ability and effort how he couldn’t get in the Chelmo side I don’t know.

Don't know where to start with this one. What a superb performance from our team. Two changes forced upon us through injuries were seamless due to the strength of the bench. Although our opponents had more possession in the first half after Samir went off, they created nothing of note due to great defensive covering.

We came out strongly after half time and dominated a large amount of the second half. Billericay looked weaker for using subs whereas we did not. The Billericay keeper made three or four very good saves in the second half which prevented a complete rout, but the save of the match was from Jacob right at the death when he touched a fine long range shot onto the bar.

The atmosphere around the ground at the end was superb and the spirit within the team is so evident.

Full credit to Ady, his team, the playing squad and the club management for working so hard to turn around the poor run of results that we suffered in the seven weeks from 07-Sep when we lost four league games and exited the FA Cup, the FA Trophy and the Kent Senior Cup. There have only been small changes to the squad since then, but Ady has moulded them into a team where the players all work for each other, they believe in their own ability and they are not afraid to try something different. It is a joy to watch.
