A word for the ref too - probably the best we’ve had this season.

He considered the conditions well. Maybe too well. Yellow cards were missed on both sides but yeah, easily the best we’ve seen for a bloody long time.

I know we have Chichester Tuesday but I'm hoping people on here are not expecting a 6/7-0 win over Hastings next week, seeing as they lost 9-0 yesterday.
We should be aware of the Potters Bar backlash.
Good to have the win yesterday.
Up the Dart's.

Probably our best all round team performance this season. Have said since the beginning of the year that if Olly Box starts, we have a decent chance of winning the game. Agree Pinder’s best performance. Finally looking like a team familiar with one another’s game, which has been looming for much of November but definitively arrived in the horrible conditions against beleaguered Lewes yesterday.
Very compartmentalised 24/25 campaign so far. Let’s hope we have hit the consistency button now and can enjoy our Christmas akin to two years ago when we annihilated Ebbo twice in a week.

What an enjoyable game of football that was, it was a nice drive home until the Radio Kent interview with Ade. It just sent out mixed messages and left me totally deflated, especially after such a good performance from the team. In my book, the play-offs are the target, anything else is just underwhelming. Sort it out DFC Management, we need to be singing from the same hymn sheet.

As for the game, we didn't make so many errors this week, the passing was much better, despite the poor playing conditions. Also good to see Luther covering at the back with his pace and for that reason, I gave him my MoM. Would still like to see a few additions to the squad and with players returning from injury/suspension we should have some competition for places as we lead into the festive period. Unbeaten from our last 5 games with 9 points are we beginning to turn the corner or is this another false dawn. Only time will tell.

A well earned three points in atrocious conditions with some good football being played as well , what’s more not to like ? Agree with many on here that Olly needs to be starting regularly with Samir , who had , I think his best game this season , but my MOTM has to go to Jacob who made some vital stops early in the second half when at 1-0 .
PS
One thing I could say about the old Watling street ground , is when it Pi**ed down with a bloody hurricane blowing , you could still keep relatively dry unlike PP where fans are scrambling around trying to find shelter in a ground that’s covered all round🤷‍♂️ still not sure what purpose the steel mesh all round has to offer ? , but getting battered in all directions is probably why so many don’t bother when in those conditions like yesterday.

I didn't hear the interview with Ade but in Spikes post I'd like to think in his explanation that Ade is protecting the players.
It is a new squad of players and one that has been pointed out on many occasions, not good enough. A lot of talk of budget suggests he hasn't got a lot of ball room. So, to me, he may be going with what he's got.
From what I've heard on yesterdays game performance's are picking up
So maybe a play off position is possible but unfortunately a few are quick to criticise the manager and players should results not go their way.
I think Ade IS protecting the players. We just got to stick in there and hope he's going the right way.
