We were in complete control first half and 2 nil up at HT but it could have been a few more.
Second half we just seemed to go into cruise control and took our foot off the gas as i believe if we'd wanted to go at them we could easily have got a few more. They had a little bit of possession second half but no real decent opportunities and when they got their goal we just went up the other end and finished the game off.
Another great result and the fantastic unbeaten run continues, well done Ady, his backroom team and the players.
The next two games will be much tougher tests playing two teams who are also in very good form., but if we're at our best it will be tougher for them.
MOTM for me was Bullas. Since he's came into the side he's played well every game and today was no different.

Another good away day. Just need to keep building the points and see where it takes us…but, we can win the title imho.
Hayden too for me as MotM - sheer class again in the engine room.
Can’t wait for next Saturday. CoYDs

Another big pat on the back today, great to see us top the league. Something back in October most (including myself) didn't believe was possible. The rebuild of the squad took its time, but the form we have been in is reward for the whole team for sticking at it.

Keep on going lads!

I didn't think the play offs were likely to be honest, so this feels amazing.
The turn around is a thing of real beauty.

Blimey, Louis looks younger than Boxy. Talks well, great lad.
Another sturdy performance yesterday by the sounds of it.
Toughie next week, hope to be there.

What a phenomenal ride we are on here.
Tweaking Disco Stu’s stats ex post facto:
Dartford have won nine league games in a row for the first time since March/April 2018, when they also won the final nine games of the season.
The Darts are 18 matches unbeaten, their best run since 2007/2008 when they went 21 matches without defeat.
Dartford have recorded seven straight away wins topping the run of six in March/April 2018. Last time they won seven consecutive games on the road was at the start of 2009/2010 season, when they managed nine.
The Darts are ten without defeat on their travels bettering nine last achieved in 2009/2010.
Wowzers.

For me, that win felt so comfortable from the moment we went in front. Having nabbed a couple of early goals, it seemed we were happy to declare at 2-0 and coast through the rest of the game and nothing much happened until very late when Bowers suddenly went off-script and scored their goal. That sparked Darts into turning it up a notch and we struck back almost immediately with a third goal that put the victory beyond doubt. I found it quite hard to pick a MOTM as I felt it was very much a solid all round team performance, but in the end I plumped for Luther Williams who had a very good game and I feel has been one of several unsung heroes of late. This run of success has been all about the whole squad, great team spirit and superb fitness, and it reminds me a lot of how Tony Burman's super team gradually formed out of what initially seemed like very little, before emerging into something very special and going on to great things. Exciting times these are.
ps. Well done Olly Box for unselfishly relinquishing a scoring opportunity by rolling the ball sideways for Callum to nab a simple tap in. That shows great maturity and will just make him even more popular with the fans than he was already.

Spike, I have to totally agree with you re your Tony Burman teams. For a while now, as the team was getting into this run, I was sensing the same sort of team spirit and squad togetherness that supporters witnessed back in those days. And I haven't seen a game yet this season, but relying on Will Bass and his commentaries. To me, it is something that had been missing these last few seasons, especially as we battled relegation last season.
Even when we were challenging up in the playoffs recently, I never felt confident we had a squad who would give it a go the following season. But this year, and I know we are a league lower, it just feels that the players are getting into the groove, and would give a good account of themselves next season if we manage to regain our place in the Conference South. Just my thoughts.
