So, we are exactly where we were - exactly a week ago right now (as I write.) Win our next two and we go up! Our final ‘get out of jail’ card played.

I think most reasonly minded supporters (excluding Sweet, of course!) would acknowledge that to have even reached the play-offs, given the first couple of months of the season, is nothing short of incredible, and Adie's role in this achievement cannot be overstated.

However, the last couple of performances and results have been massively disappointing for supporters, players and management alike. Adie will greatly exceed his already impressive achievements, if he is able to raise the morale and desire of the team to lift themselves to go again and win the play-offs now.

Personally, l think that he and the players are up for it, and with the supporters behind them, we can still claim a promotion spot, to round off an unexpectedly successful season given where we were in October.

I think it’s good news that Horsham pipped Bill n Ricay to the title, as I couldn’t see us winning at their place on the 4g given their current run of form. Whereas I can definitely see us winning at our 2nd favourite Essex teams place if/when we play the Final ??
Also would rather play CVPM than Douvres in the semi given their current run of form as well, so maybe just maybe the Gods are with us??

I'd like to think also that with a (hopefully) 2,000+ crowd we won't get outshouted by a coach load of support from the opposition.
Admittedly, we were getting a tonking Saturday but the noise did drop off somewhat.

Ady has done very well to turn things around with fundamentally the same squad that was blowing hard in September and October, however I would have been very disappointed if we’d finished out of the playoffs. DFC may not be National standard at present, but it has to be back in the South ASAP.
CVPM will be a tough test, but so were Yeovil & Torquay last season as were Mansfield, Cambridge, Grimsby, Wrexham, Luton, Newport County, etc… all swept away by the super Darts. We don’t want to be facing Staplehurst Monarchs in a couple of season saying what a tough game it will be in such a competitive league.

For all those supporters who cannot make the game, this match is being streamed live. You will have to register and pay for the live stream. As far as I understand you pay £10.99 for a weeks' subscription to watch any games within that time frame. Therefore, you will also get the playoff final as well should we make it. COYD

The manager has a big decision to make on Wednesday. Does he risk starting with Samir again, who has been playing through injuries for a number of weeks now. He really did look worse for wear on Saturday, he was wearing more bandages than Pudsy Bear. The next question is if he doesn't start, who would you start with instead. It can only be between Jeremiah or Louis surely, I am just glad I don't have to make the call. With no Michael as well, I guess that we will have a reshuffle at the back too, but I believe that Okoye should be back for this one.

I have just purchased my tickets for this one and we should expect around 1500-2000 for this game. I still find it hard to believe that a town of Dartford size circa 130k get such small crowds, I would imagine that we have one of the worse conversion rates by Town/city population.

My biggest concern is not the game but the fella on the tannoy, I hope someone had a quiet word in his ear after his efforts on Saturday. If you are reading this pal, show a bit of respect to our opponents please.

We have a strong squad luckily so I expect anyone missing will have a good deputy.

As for the tannoy, I could not hear anything anyway because the tannoy at the car park end/golf course side does not work!

Without becoming too political, it may be because much of the increase in local population has no ties to the local area. I say this as a Dartford born, life-long resident (not sure that there are that many of us). When I finally escape, I do not intend to embrace a club in my new location and fully expect to follow the Darts results via the media and hopefully taking in the occasional game or two. I would therefore behave exactly as the 'new' Dartfordians are behaving.

Interesting. Yet when I moved down here from Bedfordshire many years ago, the first thing I did was look up my local non league club. And they were top of the Isthmian with a great ground and superb facilities. Never went anywhere else!

There are definitely a couple of chaps of Eastern European ilk that I have seen on a few occasions at the ground this season.
Some people do follow the club from out of town.

Nerves. Hoping for the best but play offs are a lottery, and I worry all our great work will ho unrewarding.
