CHAMPIONS! Dartford FC Girls Academy led by manager George Kingdon, line up for a team photo before the Men’s Isthmian League match with Chatham Town on Easter Monday. They received a fantastic round of applause from the fans on their wonderful achievement in the Academy’s first year – the winning of the National Youth League, South Championship Women’s Division.

They have won the league championship with still two games to play.

Some of the girls from the Academy took part in the "Darts Football Shuffleboard" which is a half-time competition at Dartford FC home matches where supporters - or in this case members of the Girls Academy team - attempt to kick a football from the goal line to stop as close to the halfway line as possible without going over.
Bella Taffs, who incidentally is the Academy’s current leading goal-scorer with 19 goals, came the closest and was awarded the prize.
Their remaining games in this league are:
Wednesday 22nd April 2026, home to Billericay Town
and the following week,
Wednesday 29th April 2026, away to Chatham Town
Huge thanks again to Main Club Photographer, Carol White-Griffiths for use of photo. And WELL DONE to the GIRLS!
