Let’s be honest it’s a good draw for us. 4th in Ryman north so should be a win without appearing too arrogant!

Who remembers the Isthmian Division One North title race with them? And didn’t we score that ‘ghost goal’ that never crossed the line at Sudbury?

Ball did cross the line…of the 6 yard box but definitely not the Sudbury goal line!

We celebrated like the ball was in and the ref gave it.

There was some great banter with their supporters on both clubs’ forums, too. When they dropped points it would be followed by a Wobble, wobble…

Will be a great away day with memories of the goal that never was, although will miss while returning from a week away. Good chance to progress to the first round proper, I hope.

Yes the goal that never was,
One of the worst decisions I have ever seen , the ball was nowhere near their goal line but the lino and the ref were adamant that it was a goal.
We went on to win the league and I believe that they lost in the play offs that year.
We should have enough quality to get through but this is the cup ,so anything can happen.

I remember the trip to Sudbury really well and speaking to Ron and Roz who were adamant that the ball had not crossed the line as they were standing watching from the touch-line. This is the first time that I had seen the film of the match and am amazed looking at it that the match officials came up with the decision that it was a goal! But the history books clearly show that Brendan Cass scored - so, as the cricketers say, just look in the book!
Sudbury were great hosts and I wonder whether their supporters still have that air-raid siren........

Sudbury will be playing well to have got this far......so a potential banana skin, especially if they remember that 'goal' as well as we do!!!
