Before kick off on Tuesday, I was quietly confident that we would have nine points come 5pm Saturday. Now I’m not sure we’ll have six! Surely we can beat Canvey at home. I don’t want to be on the phone to the Samaritans this early in the season.

They are usually engaged until about 5.30 on a Saturday fyi.

You must have been on to them regularly last season. We're a young side learning the ropes. I think it best you make fortnightly appointments.
I'm more than hoping for 6 points by 5pm tomorrow.

People criticised Dowse for breaking the connection between fans and club by his lack of interviews/sending his assistants. I thought Ady was supposed to be repairing that.

Have a wedding to attend today (how inconsiderate to arrange for the first full weekend of the season) hoping for a win today to pick back up from Tuesday and move on

Just saying. It's as important to hear from him when we lose and when we win.

Looks like a low crowd today

Oh JFC. Another referee out of his depth. Three games. And they’ve all been shocking.

Too much going on in August/September Steve. It's still summer, hence the reason I'm not there today. Hence the low turn out.
That's why I'm relying on you.

This is a difficult watch.

According to this site, Will Bass was unwell on Tuesday, hence no commentary.... and I presume, no post match interview with Ady.
