With things hotting up in the run in for the end of season play offs, a win next weekend is a must.
Seeing Billericay take over the 5th play off spot with an emphatic 5-0 trouncing at Potters Bar yesterday, can anyone, hand on heart, see us going there and doing the same?
I for one can maybe see us scratching a win with the way we are playing. Also with players being suspended in the games ahead we could find us missing vital players in vital games.
With the inconsistency in form and now Riccay breaking into the play off positions I can honestly say we look also rans at this time.
If we win ugly and maintain the 5th spot, we have to do it for 12 game's. That's a big ask.

I’ve resigned myself to becoming a massive case of ‘whatever’ this season. Play offs? Could do. Should do. Win them by a lottery miracle? Doubtful. Even if we do return to NLS, the gulf has widened and is getting wider by each year.

I disagree that the gulf is getting wider. I actually think the quality is not that different between the ILP and NLS. If there were a gulf, we’d see a lot more yo-yo teams like between NLS and NLSleightly Deceptive wrote: Sun Feb 08, 2026 1:23 pm I’ve resigned myself to becoming a massive case of ‘whatever’ this season. Maybe. But some are just rifling through onwards and upwards. Many others, previously below us, have overtaken us and marched on. That’s what I base my judgement on.Dart of Herts wrote: Mon Feb 09, 2026 12:13 amI disagree that the gulf is getting wider. I actually think the quality is not that different between the ILP and NLS.
