DARTFORD v BROMLEY Kent County Cup semi-final Sun 16th Feb ko 1:30 pm at Princes Park

Post by Ajaxman DFC »

Following on from the destruction of Lucy Clark's mile high flying island hoppers, our well drilled girls will be looking to take no prisoners when they take on Bromley in the semi-final of the Kent Cup on Sunday at fortress Princes Park.
The scene of the carnage inflicted upon Sutton United, reducing their manager to a quivering wreck during the post match interview, while endorsing the reputation of the elite arm of DFC. The Dartford Destroyers. Our very own X Troop, who came to prominence on the beaches of France in World War Two. Now known as Xayla's Army. A crack unit who dominate and control every inch of not sand but turf, transforming the pitch into a minefield for the opposition.
And they cover all the angles off the pitch too. Don't be fooled by the tiny look of innocence on the terraces either. These are no ordinary little girls. They are the Dart's own version of the SAS, The Dartford Ultras, operating behind the goal to distract and destabilise the opposition by taking care of the keeper.
This will be the third time Bromley will have to face our ladies in cup competitions this season. No doubt they must have thought oh no, here we go again when the draw was made.
The last thing they will want to view is Sutton's post match comments from last week.
Although it hardly did our talented ladies justice.
Yes, they can be physical at times but play hard and fair.
The opposition's welfare is always paramount.
We even had a brand new hospital practically built next door, with it's own state of the art A&E department, several years ago too.
And not many clubs can say that.

James has been at the coffee again .... or maybe something stronger!
Great write-up though James ... we all need something to lift the gloomy skies - mind you having said that there's been a lot of blue sky today.

Bromley come to Princes Park with an impressive top-of-the-table position and their wins per matches in the league are very similar to our own - with just one loss - but one division below us.
However, this isn't the league ....... this is the Cup ...... !
