A fella called Ben Mapp has been delving into the stats on clubs relegated from the NLS to the ILP. Made for interesting reading although I’m not sure there’s anything positive in there for the Darts to cling onto.

Don't do X, but from what I can make out, it's very hard. No offence Skip, I'm sure it's a good read.

Very good read Skip and very interesting. Especially the psychology part. The Dart's though couldn't be blamed for the psychological side,. Ours surely is more traumatic. We had two players signed on early summer, as all the players who got us relegated had fled the scene.
Most players signed by Ade were deemed inadequately experienced and yet he almost got us back in the first season.
This season considering is showing the cracks earlier than what we hoped and it seems a tougher ask to emulate last season.
Some are calling for Ade's head and are quickly losing patience. Understandable maybe for some. Do we get rid of give him another season?
Perhaps we may yet get to the play offs and who knows? We may do a Dover.
But there are many reasons not to bounce straight back.
We have umpteen at the moment it seems.
Thanks Skip. I enjoyed that.

LR, not sure how long Ady’s contract has left which might also determine if the club can afford a dismissal even if they we’re currently considering it?
