Following our gritty display coming twice from behind against a decent Dorking side last week, it's another big game away to Brentford on Sunday.
We currently hold the bragging rights having already beaten them 3-1 at home on 16/11/2024.
It was a fantastic response from our ladies following their previous league game which saw a 1-0 defeat away to Sutton United, played two weeks previously 2/11/2024.
Which, incidentally, was the same day Brentford went down 1-0 at Saltdean.
There is a very good poster on Brentford's women's page on their forum known as The Griffin Park Grapevine.
His observations demonstrate a balanced view of games. Following their defeat at Princes Park, he noted that while it was generally felt Saltdean were fortunate to claim all three points against them Dartford's 3-1 victory was fully deserved.
No doubt this will be a stern test for our ladies at their gaff but it isn't taking place at Brentford's ground which could be to our advantage.
For anyone travelling by rail Hatton Cross, on the Piccadilly line, is the nearest station followed by a 10 minute walk.
