Don’t need any deliberation over MOTM, Sam Odaudu all day long. Love it, love it, love it.

Having said that I thought Jacob kept us in front at half time.
Our front two are immense and it's easy to give MotM to either. But I'm going for Jacob.
Agree, many very good performances out there and a few standouts like Box and Jones. Must be said Jacob was excellent not just with his shot stopping but the rest of his game too.
How many times did he pluck the ball out the air when under pressure. Also right towards the end when they went round him and they missed it was Jacobs positioning and decision making that forced the guy so wide he couldn’t get it on target. Top performance from him and not just the obvious stuff.

Our problem position all last season and at the beginning of this season was the keeper who until Jacob came back in around October time we had mainly had mistake prone keepers in place.

Shows just how important he is bcus I think if the side don’t have confidence in their keeper they tend to lose confidence we can win games regardless of how well the outfield players play.

Biggest reason we went down last year was Wells was released thank god we have a manager in Ady who can see keeper talent and has been able to build Jacob’s confidence also after a shaky start.

Question: If Marsden gets injured, who’s in the sticks?

They mentioned the youth keeper working with Jacob in the interview today after the game so I’m guessing him however if he isn’t quite ready maybe a loan signing.

Only thing that worries me is injuries as we cut the budget after the sponsor didn’t pay money expected Ady’s “spare cash” wash shelved however rising crowds might help with squad bolstering if needed

To think earlier in the season was a little concerned about Relegation with something like 4 wins and 5 losses but now 19 unbeaten being 14 wins and 5 Draws beginning to wonder what the Club record must be, we must be nearing it.

Another excellent result from the boys today in what was a very tough & difficult battle for them. Full credit to Hashtag who came to play football today and give us a very hard game rather than play dirty, dive & roll about on the floor or basically cheat.
We was very lucky at times that they never managed to score as a few lapses and bad passes at times allowed them through but thankfully either Jacob was on form or they just couldn’t finish.

Olly & Callum were both superb yet again and never gave the Hashtag defence a moments peace leading to the penalty from Callum’s excellent touch & run, how the referee never gave a red card to the Hashtag defender I will never know. It was one of the clearest through on goal fouls I’ve seen, at least the ref awarded the penalty as it’s one of the only things he gave us all game. After that pen he gave us absolutely sod all when we should’ve had at least a further 2 pens and they should’ve had at least a red card.

Jacob Marsden did come in for a lot of stick early on in the season and even now there’s some supporters that don’t have the greatest of confidence in him but apart from his kicking I think Jacob seems to be getting stronger game by game and has instilled a lot of confidence in our defence as the back line have all become a lot stronger as well.

Yet another game where both Louis Dunne & Hayden Bullas have been quality in the middle of the park, it is vital that we keep both until the seasons end.

Today I personally thought was one of Sam Odaudo’s poorer games, I know he made that good run and put over the excellent cross near the end for Ollie’s goal BUT for most of the game his crosses were poor & he quite often made poor passes and kept giving the ball away. Normally Sam is very good and I know he’s generally solid as a rock but just thought that his distribution was poor today except for that one ball but everyone’s allowed the odd off game.

Callum Jones got my MOTM vote in the end for winning and scoring the penalty as well as running his socks off all game and putting fear into the Hashtag defence.

Onto Tuesday night and hopefully fingers crossed we’ll win the 3pts against an on form Chichester side who’ll have fresh legs after not playing today.

Can anyone please confirm as I heard that we set a new club record yesterday with 10 wins in a row?

On radio Kent last night they said yesterday equaled the club record of 10 straight wins and a victory Tuesday would set a new record.

Yes on the way home from the game I was listening to Radio Kent who said it would be a new record in Dartford 's 100plus year history if we beat Chichester 11 wins on the spin?

Excellent shift from the squad and a good game all round. Hashtag were not an easy team to beat.
Press on now to Tuesday when we have another tough crack to nut.
I'm not worried about records but to just keeping the momentum for hopefully another win.

Trawled through some stuff on my laptop and found a 14 game winning league streak in 1908. It was in the West Kent League. We won 9 in a row at the end of the 2017/2018 season, then two more to start the following campaign to total 11.

Away this weekend, but may check Princes Among Men when I get home. As I was wondering what the club record is for my next match preview.

Mr Clark consulted his spreadsheet yesterday to confirm that if we win Tuesday it will be an all time (137 year) record of 11 victories in one season on the spin. No pressure then. On a different note I noticed we played music after the goals. Always hated that so please stop immediately. Thanks

Yesterday was my first trip back to PP for a couple of seasons. What a good performance from the team. There seems to be some exciting players in the side and it was a hard fought and well earned victory. Several players stood out for me, but Callum Jones and Olly Box were the standout ones for me. Thoroughly enjoyed the game. Considering the crap weather, there was a good crowd.
My only gripe yesterday was the wait of 20 minutes for a cup of coffee, before kick off at the pod by the college end. What's that all about ? Surely there must be other outlets inside the ground that can serve hot drinks ? Unless i missed something, that needs to be addressed as several people gave up and walked off. Apart from that, the afternoon was good.

Also this winning/unbeaten business keeps the Draugr away. Hate the sound of lid lifters when we start dropping points or losing. We have a few on here who do love a whinge at the drop of a hat or point.
At the moment it is so refreshing.👿

I think if anybody wasn’t unhappy with last seasons performances they don't like football as we were awful ! Nothing wrong with voicing an opinion to be honest Lars as long as you can mix positives and negatives when required.

Some people too negative some people rose tinted however currently everyone seems happy I wonder why 😉
