First half we looked really flat and played without any tempo and tbf Hendon deserved their lead at HT.
But i don't think the first half performance had anything to do with the changes as the whole team looked way below par and we know all the squad have done well when called upon. We also came out second half with the same side but looked far more positive and played on the front foot and this led to us turning it around in a few mad minutes and getting another three valuable points.

Strange feeling for me today as we got a decent draw midweek but as it ended our unbelievable winning streak it seemed more like a defeat, maybe this had something to do with our first half performance but once the lads rallied, yet again they found a way to win.

Hendon didn't look a bad side and on today's performance better than their current league position.

This was Hendon's biggest attendance of the season and i would conservatively say we had at least half the crowd.
So great support again and you can see the bond between the fans and players building week by week.

MOTM for me was Luther Williams, rarely mentioned but another good performance from him.

We didn’t play very well in the first half and I put it down to the plastic pitch. The ball really whizzed around and that takes some getting used to.
Obviously words would have been said in the dressing room and we got back in the game very early second half.
Once Olly and Samir came on their class showed and I made Samir motm due to his magnificent passing and control of the game
Loving how we play

Tough 3 points that made harder by our below par first half. Take nothing away from Hendon though who deserved to lead at half-time time.

Samir made the difference for us in the second half and hopefully he can stay fit for the run in.

Let’s keep this run going boys.

Game of two half’s - playing downhill we were much better in the second half

Hendon had some decent players - can’t work out why they are in relegation zone

Anyway - a trip down from Derbyshire was worth it 👍

Still, I think we would have found a winner either way. Great response in the second half from the lads!
I was surprised at the decision to award a penalty, but thought it was handball all day long. Was standing the other side of halfway line though.
Our boys showed great resolve to turn things around yesterday, although we don’t have any journeymen or dead wood, there are certain key players whose omission - for whatever reason - greatly reduces the control we have on a game. Keep these 4/5 players fit and we have every chance of winning the title.

All that matters is that the referee saw it as a handball inside the box.

It was a definite handball, couldn’t see whether it was inside or outside the box. Oh well, there’s been plenty other penalty decisions not given our way this season, the majority of which were stone-wall!

Yeh definitely handball. Looks outside, maybe the ref thinks he lept from inside to out.
Nice to be on the positive side of a referees error as we get our fair share against us.

Having seen the replay, I was maybe too quick to call it the worst I’ve seen! Looks like handball and it was closer to the area than I thought (still outside though)

I would agree that it looks like contact was made outside of the penalty area. However, the likely angel of the Ref and (assuming) the assistant was on the far side then difficult to call. Fortunate to get the decision, but hey ho there have been and will be other things going against us - so even Stevens.

Good win against tough opposition but the great run goes on.

Having watched that one I think we got away with murder there.
Still, I'm not complaining and you need a certain amount of luck if you're going to win the league.
But if Hendon go down they'll rue there luck in this match.

Also, it's good to see Denzelle with a few votes. For me he's the most improved player we've got. I really didn't rate him early season, but the lad's certainly gained a lot of respect from me lately.
