You are allowed to go out Kev, just let us all know you're going to be late sending in the highlights.
We wait with bated breath.

Great to see the highlights of a match i was able to attend!!

Once again, thoroughly enjoyed my trip down to PP and delighted to see us pick up the 3 points. Pity we couldn't have scored a couple of more goals to boost our goal difference, but the Hastings keeper pulled of a couple of excellent saves to keep the score down. Enjoyed our football and getting to recognise more of the players.

Sorry not too catch up with you Trevor and Matt, but did with many others who I missed out catching up with 2 weeks ago. Also thanks to poster Darren for introducing himself again.

Thanks Jonty for getting me to the station after the game, which helped me get to Euston less then 3 minutes before departure, to catch an earlier train than I normally take.

Well played Darts and the supporters.

And delighted to have another quick chat with Ollie pitchside when the players acknowledged the fans behind the goal at the end of the match.

What did their player receive the straight red card for as the video didn’t show it or was it 2 yellows?

That's what I would call a bread and butter win. No frills but 3 points, a clean sheet and a job well done. Keeping the pressure on Billy & Ricky.

I believe that it was a straight red, although the player should probably have been booked previously. Strange refereeing performance. Early on he let strong challenges go and the game flowed well. However, he did not appear to set out what would be tolerated and the players began to push the boundary to see what they could get away with. The outcome was totally predictable. As soon as the first yellow card was finally produced during the second half, it was followed by a flurry. The blatant push of a player into the advertising hoarding could only be rewarded with a red card.

The sending off made no difference to the match. They had not threatened our goal up to that stage and nothing changed thereafter.

Well done Darts.

Hastings cannot argue about the straight red. The ball was going out for a goal kick and he just hacked (I think) Luther's legs away from him and the ball had probably crossed the goal line by then.

Regulation win against at best average oppo.
We will have much tougher games as the season goes on.

Hopefully Billericay will drop some points asap.
