He wasn't listed as captain today. That was Joshua Seberry today, so perhaps not being captain gives him more opportunity to concentrate on his own game.

If we should not get promotion it will get very lively down my way next season. What with Ramsgate and maybe Sittingbourne getting promotion.
My Ramsgate friend already champing at the bit.
I do hope we can escape from this and get back where we belong.

M 1 South says
How the mighty have fallen!!
It might be a drop down the leagues but I would have him back at any time
Around 100 goals a season from the team when he was with us and he missed few penalties if any, well rehearsed free kicks and corners meant we never knew what was going to happen until taken and neither did the opposition thus resulting in alot of those goals.
72 years following The Darts and for me the best period was when Peter was with us and the players he brought in.

Agreed, but I don’t think he could play for us now :D :D

He was a great player when he joined us !

Happy days at Watling Street ;)

Whole heartedly agree, Trev. Four seasons of entertainment with 100 plus goal scored in each of those seasons, too. Shame we never made a Wembley appearance or won the league that we surely deserved but at least we had a number of cup final victories to celebrate.

I wish I’d been in Dartford in those days. I’d love to have ‘lived’ the Watling Street scene.

Some of the best football I’ve seen as a Dartford fan was when Peter Taylor was player manager, nobody except the players ever knew what was happening whenever we had a free kick or corner.

Just 1 hand signal from PT and the players all suddenly moved into position as they knew where the ball was being placed and the amount of goals scored from either corners or PT’s direct free kicks was brilliant to watch.

Taylor, Sowerby, Hessenthaler, Connors, Robinson, Keen, Davidson, just to name a few, all superb players in their own right.

I think it was under Peter Taylor that the black and white army was first heard. And didn't we have all the penguins under him? Great times indeed
