That’s brilliant Spike, no wonder why you haven’t been posting lately. You have been busy with your new band mates. Absolutely love it.

OMFG! That is beyond superb! Take a bow my son!
Surely got to be aired in the stadium and become a regular terrace song?

Well if my intention was to inspire then it clearly didn't work.

Re: Ady's Boys
After last nights performance you may have to change some of the names/wording Spike. But as said, a great piece of work.
As for 'The Light at the End of the Tunnel', that was a great read also and I had a story included in the No6 issue, I seem to remember. I believe it was the issue with Steve Robinson running across the pitch with his shorts ripped???? I may be wrong.
Anyway, bloody hilarious at times.
You don't know what you missed Tony.

Such a good read with the humour and facts and sadly I never kept my copies or I would send them on to Tony but I do know there are fans who have kept their copies so might be able to help.
Tony it was a good many years ago when we were at the Watling Street ground and you could find Spike and Gary the contributors standing outside the turnstile in Watling Street handing out the magazine for free.Where can I see “Light at the End of the Tunnel” please?

They were never free Trev. I think they were originally 50p but most issues were £1.
Tony H - I've probably still got a few spares laying around. I'll see if I can find a few and you'd be welcome to them.

Spike thanks for that, it was a long while ago and at 77 memories not so good, but around a 10 bob note ehThey were never free Trev. I think they were originally 50p but most issues were £1.

Re: Ady's Boys
And we sold them inside the ground, Trev. The proviso from the club was that we provided them with a copy before it went on sale just in case there was any controversial content. Invariably we’d already sold a couple hundred before handing over a copy for the club to peruse! I think we may have been one of the only fanzines allowed by its club this benefit probably because we were a bit more subtle and humorous with our criticism when the club when we had to take it to task.Trevor B wrote: Wed Sep 03, 2025 4:50 pm Tony H askedTony it was a good many years ago when we were at the Watling Street ground and you could find Spike and Gary the contributors standing outside the turnstile in Watling Street handing out the magazine for free.Where can I see “Light at the End of the Tunnel” please?
I remember the occasional match days it was like a market stall as we sold all the other paraphernalia from Light at the end of the tunnel: Inflatable penguins, club badges, protest t-shirts (when Maidstone moved in and painted the ground yellow!).
Fun days supporting the Darts which always makes me reflect and remember all those supporters that aren’t with us anymore but shared some great times with.
