Clearly communicated, including freebies still available.
Hope the Yoof take heed and turn up in well - behaved numbers, as all Dartford fans should be.

So you can make babies legally and marry someone however the police advice is if you are 16 or 17 you won’t be able to go and watch your local football team without having a parent / an adult with you!
I haven’t ever seen any significant issues at PP since it opened so the club saying “no issues when this has been in place” means nothing as there hasn’t been any to my mind since the ground has opened !
When I was that age I used to go alone to watch the Darts and that built my loyalty to the club, parents work and some families have no football interest to attend with youngsters who want to go this feels like a constant attempt to treat young adults like they are at school and need supervision in my eyes it’s a joke.
It will kill the club this constant battering of the youth however I don’t see it changing any time soon it’s another way of big brother control that I hate in this country.
Ps I went to Charlton v Brum and there was a massive police presence of well over 300 officers ! Lack of resource being spouted by the police is a load of old rubbish.

It’s indicative of the times BB. Total bullshit. Just get people in to deal with it as and when and IF it actually happens. Scaremongering no news bollocks.

100% agree BB , the club will realise their actions towards young fans was wrong when it will be too lateBagdhad Billy wrote: Thu Apr 02, 2026 8:31 pmSo you can make babies legally and marry someone however the police advice is if you are 16 or 17 you won’t be able to go and watch your local football team without having a parent / an adult with you!

Let's hope the 16/17 year old's turn up with their parents and their own children then. We need a bit of noise.

Utter stupidity from the club! Name me another business who actively discourage their “customers” from turning up?

Can't say it's totally the club's decision, on this occasion, as Police information and advice take precedence, whether like it or not.
It's unfortunately indicative of non - league football throughout the area and nationally, for some fixtures!
Noticed that even for the Kent Women's Cup Final on 23rd April, Darts v Chatham, u-18's (not just u-17) Must be accompanied by an Adult / Carer, while recommending Advanced Tickets to be purchased.

Re: Dartford v Chatham Town Mon 6 Apr 2026
The Easter Saturday results have now put the pressure on Dartford.
There are really only two games that matter on Monday. Welling travel to Brentwood looking for points to secure their safety for another season. They have been scoring regularly in their recent matches and this match could go either way. If Welling manage an away victory, defeat to Chatham might not herald the end of our season, but we will be totally reliant upon a Brentwood suffering their own Devon Loch run-in.
Whilst a draw would almost guarantee Chatham a play-off place, it might cost them the benefit of home advantage at the semi-final stage. They would possibly be looking at a trip to Billericay. The league table suggests that Chatham know how to park the bus. They have only conceded eight goals in nineteen away matches. The Folkestone away defence is the next best with sixteen conceded. Chatham have lost three and drawn five away matches.
Having watched the match at Chatham earlier this year, I thought that we caused them plenty of problems in defence. They benefitted from a number of poor calls from the officials, including a foul in the build up to their goal. One change that has been forced upon us is the absence of Samir. I am not sure who can fill those boots on Monday.

Considering government policy is hell bent on hammering businesses at all levels, and taking into account our wonderful welfare system at the expense of the British army, which would just about fill Old Trafford, does this mean an 18 year old girl will be able to attend the Women's Kent Cup Final with her 17 year old girlfriend and claim free entry as her carer?Ring of fire wrote: Fri Apr 03, 2026 3:51 pm Can't say it's totally the club's decision, on this occasion, as Police information and advice take precedence, whether like it or not.

Because if this is the actual wording they can jolly well play the system at it's own game.

Re: Dartford v Chatham Town Mon 6 Apr 2026
Best case scenario today we win and Welling win at Brentwood = playoff fate in our own hands. Worst case scenario Chatham beat us and Welling lose = we are five points adrift with three games to play. If our result matches Brentwood’s, our situation remains the same but with one game fewer to effect an overtake. Will be interesting to see how it all unfolds, whatever happens we will need a bit of lady luck for sure.
Re: Dartford v Chatham Town Mon 6 Apr 2026
Well well four games left and I feel sure IF we get max points we will be in the playoffs.
Obviously a win is crucial today as a loss will kill the season for us.
I still think it is possible even though I am sure Ade will select the wrong starting 11 today and the wrong tactics as he has been doing all season. Go on mate prove me wrong.

I agree with Rambo. I believe that victory in each of our last four games would put us in the play-offs. Victory today will keep fourth place a possibility whilst any other result will see us in a battle with Brentwood for fifth.
I do not believe that we have finished fifth in any league since 1979/80 in the Southern League First Division South. Footballers were tough in those days and we drew away at Dunstable on Easter Friday 2-2, drew at home with Dover on Easter Saturday 1-1 and lost a Kent Senior Cup final away on Easter Monday. I believe some of our regular fans managed three games on the Easter Friday. Dunstable was a morning kick-off, with hot cross buns being sold at the tea bar. I think they saw a match at The Valley as Charlton were at home, but I do not recall which other match they saw.
Let us hope our team can be that adventurous today.

Good memory cells, Phil! Spike and me were on the supporters’ coach to Dunstable and that kicked off at 11am I think. A 2-2 draw with Kerry Dixon bagging a pair for the home team. As it was pre M25 days we drove back via central London and the coach driver dropped us off near The Valley for Charlton v Luton. Another goal fest with the Hatters cruising home 4-1. A terrific Luton side that included centre forward, Bob Hatton and David Moss on the wing.Grassbank wrote: Mon Apr 06, 2026 10:39 am I agree with Rambo. As you say, can you imagine today’s cosseted premier league footballers even playing two game in three days let alone 3 in 4!
