I’m guessing that if he’s come through their academy and constantly been put out on loan then they would be entitled to a fee a bit like Olly going to Ebbsfleet and then having to pay us a fee.

It’s been a great day for signings and there certainly seems to be some goalscorers amongst them.

This could hopefully be a great season.

A real mix of experience and young adults for next season. I am actually looking forward to a season for the first time in a while! I am fairly sure the latest signing was a real handful against us and scoring 20+ goals for Wingate is a real sign he must have a bit of quality about him

He came through the Reading academy mate then had a stint in Scotland with Queens Park before going to Dover, I went on their website and on the retained list they triggered a second year option on him so I’m guessing the fee was bcus he was under contract for another year.

Great to see a young striker with bags of potential coming to us from a NLS side who wanted to retain him. Recent signings fill me with a lot more confidence than last seasons additions.

Hoping for a good season fingers crossed.
