Spike mentions
They were never free Trev. I think they were originally 50p but most issues were £1.
Spike thanks for that, it was a long while ago and at 77 memories not so good, but around a 10 bob note eh

Could Light at the End of The Tunnel be digitised so we could all relive those brilliant times? I'd be happy to chip in to cover any cost involved.

Probably the rearranged home Burgess Hill match if it falls on a free night. I would say I’ll see you in the bar, Trev, but I think all the season ticket holders now have exclusive use of Skinner’s Bar…
I’m in regular contact with Spike and a couple of other long term sufferers so receive regular updates on the peaks and troughs!
Felixstowe & W Utd now provides my regular fix since Mrs H. rediscovered her football bug. We’re 5 minutes walk from the ground so I’ve joined the water sprinkler group (no automated watering system up here!) and also help with toshing up the ground when required. Friendly little club that’s only been at step 4 since 2018. And with most of the away travel taking in the East Anglia scenery apart from the occasional foray to east London, I’ve been ticking off a few new grounds. A first visit to Cambridge City’s very impressive new stadium is coming around soon. I’m sure you and Micky Austin would have watched the Darts at City’s original stadium when they were a far bigger team than Cambridge United?

Yes I do visit Skinner's Bar at the matches now and sit with about 10-12 other fans round a table prior to kick off, but I will look out for you standing with Spike as I walk round the ground either at start of play or half time
