NEWHAVEN v DARTFORD away London & South East Regional MM League (Merry Melodies & Looney Tunes), Sun 17th Aug 2:30pm

Well here we go again. Welcome back to the circus. The London & South East Regional Mickey Mouse League returns to action under the stewardship of the Petts Shop Boys. So here's the latest, post the swept under the carpet League Cup Final where the West End Girls never showed up. So far we've had the link to the forthcoming fixtures for 2025/26 placed on the L&SERMML site. But there were no fixtures available, just the new league table which has also now been removed along with the link. Maybe this was partly due to the table showing the season has been extended to 26 games with Ashford and occasional participants Haywards Heath being reprieved.
I sincerely hope not. Thankfully the opening fixture is against Newhaven. If it was Heath I wouldn't even bother looking at travel arrangements, by risking money on train tickets for a ghost fixture. And if they have been reprieved I'll be demanding what the reasons are for retaining a club that in all honesty should have been booted out of the league, but was allowed to complete the season by accumulating a grand total of minus four points. I'll soon be straight on the Petts Shop's Boys backs complaining It's A Sin. Then I'll beg, borrow and steal every single penny I can lay my hands on with a view to finding a bookie, who'll give me decent odds on Darts finishing 3rd behind Brentford and Saltdean. Three other clubs had points deductions last season. Ebbsfleet was one of them. Wouldn't have been anything to do with the weakened side fielded during the back to back 6-0 rollovers by any chance? It's Always On My Mind.
If it was down to me, would I sack the Petts Shop Boys tomorrow?
Left To My Own Devices I probably would.
